After a lovely weekend away, which actually felt a little like being on holiday - I'm all refreshed, £50 lighter, but thats not too bad considering there were 3 of us, one went to comicon, two went to a concert, we had lunch out of that too!
I sold 5 things over the weekend on ebay, the dolls didn't even have one person watching them so I think I will stick to the craft fayres with them from now on, the next one is on 18th April, I bought some chep picture frames from a car boot yesteday which I need to fill and paint before then and hope to make at least 10 more dolls before that too:j Going to be busy, just how I like it:j:j
I need to get TV License tomorrow as it's run out, also pay a few bills. The money from ebay should be in my account then so i can pay some money off CC. The sun is still shining here in Shropshire land, the dog however is curled up behind me shivering away like it's mid winter:rotfl:
My cousin gave me 8 big plant pots of herbs she has grown, so i am going to plant them out this week, I need to get some netting to go around the soft fruits, tomatoes, chillis and basil are all coming on well, I put some pepper centres into pots but they dont seem to be sprouting yet, I am going to try garlic growing as well this week. Need to weed the garden and cut some stuff back.
I'm back to work on 10th so need to crack on and get it all done before then.
Have a lovely Monday everyone xx

:j:j:j£8.68 off CC today thanks to ebay!:j:j:j

I am going to do the 5 min benefit checker today on MSE as I'm not sure how the changes on Friday will affect me and also my wages will reduce by half when I return to work on 10th April - need to brace myself!
I have been filling in budget brain as i go along this year, all the money i pay out i mark up as paying over a year and it's interesting to see the monthly amount growing, scary, I can already see where I need to cut back.
Need to crack on and make some more dolls for the craft fayre, I am aiming for one a day up until 15th April, which will give me a good stock to sell.

It's snowing here - bizarre after all that lovely sunshine, glad I didn't plant the new herbs out yesterday now, hope my potatoes will be ok:rotfl:

:j:jToday was my first day back at work, now I am only working Weds, Thurs and Fri, which will reduce my income by half, I need to start looking at my child tax credit and also see if I can get any council tax benefit, it's a bit scary money wise but i feel so much better already knowing that I am only working 2 1/2 days per week.
Right I'll call tax credits now before they close at 8pm:)

GRRRRR! couldn't get through to tax Credits, I'll try again today, I can see how they are funded though, you have to listen to 5 mins of information before they tell you they can't connect you:rotfl: Crafty!!

I did get through to them this afternoon, after holding for 20 mins! So should have a new tax credit report thingy back soon, when I get that and my payslip i can put in for council tax benefit, my new income will be around £9000 a year and my mortgage it £735 per month so the figures aren't adding up at the moment, I need to make some serious cut backs, I really don't want to have to go onto interest only mortgage payments, I like repaying and seeing the total go down.
My first official 4 hours in work today exhausted me, supposed to be going to the flicks tonight to see The Marigold Hotel film with book club, it's only a fiver through flicks in the sticks and it just so happens i have exactly a fiver left until i do the table sale on Sunday, we do have full freezer and cupboards which is good.
My youngest sons retainer broke on Sunday and he is going for a new on on Friday, the dentist say it will cost £80.00, does anyone know if there are concessions as he is under sixteen and i have an exemption card???? I will also text his dad to see if he can chip in with the cost!!! Yikes, they are expensive!!!

I have realised that I haven't been updating my signature on NSD and have probably got a few more than is showing, I will have to be more vigilant in adding them.
I did a craft fare yesterday, which turned out to be more like a car boot sale so although none of my dolls sold i did sell £107 worth of items, that,s not counting the £14 I spent on two tops and a pair of shoes, the shoes I will put on ebay, they were a boxed new pair of Ecco ballarinas with a price tag of £59.00 and I bought them for £4.00 - bargain!!!
I now need to work out who gets what bills wise from the profits and say goodbye to that lovely wadge of cash!
Today shall be spent adding things to ebay I think.
