Is it quite sad that I thoroughly enjoy counting out my loose change jar and do it on regular occasions.....I need to get out more don't I? :rotfl:MFW Start:[STRIKE] Sep 2014 - £110,844[/STRIKE], July 2019 New Home £190,995

:T Sharing your pain as a Lund0n-ner at the stupid prices, I know how much difference taking in lunch makes so :T for those days … it adds up really quickly I found.
On the upside, M3tro banks which seem to be springing up everywhere have free (many of the supermarket ones take a cut) coin counting machines which you can use even without an account … I took a big jug of COPPERS (albeit collected over years) and got almost £30. Bit heavy to take it there, but then really easy - just tip it in ...Fleabay + Weebuy + Gumfree since started diary 94 items sold, £649.71 clear profit0 -
Oh Hollyboll thanks - there's literally a m3tro bank outside my office!Mortgage Oct '20: £615k

Never feel like youv made the wrong choice petal its right for you in your life
fact is it wont take you that long so the amount you ow is more important than the time as you could remortgage down the line to a different time frame :]
Are you going to stick to your £100 op a month or try to up it as and when you can
Can i ask out of interest what your normal payments areMortgage--- [STRIKE]£67700 March 15[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£65221 April 15[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£64983 July 15[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£64780 sept 15[/STRIKE] Remortgage [STRIKE]£67295 oct 15[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£66599 Nov 15[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£65878.73 Dec 15[/STRIKE][STRIKE] £64834 1st Jan 16[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]Feb 16 £64,511.89[/STRIKE][STRIKE] March 16 £64,056.40[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]April 16 £62550[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]May 16 £62,396.20[/STRIKE] Feb 17 £60.800

Than you for the kind words LIL - and I am definitely aiming to remortgage as soon as possible.
My normal payments are just over £1,400/month and my £100 OP is going to be topped up whenever I can, albeit not by very much probably until I get a raise. The plan is to either get promoted at xmas or change companies instead - either way I should be able to increase my monthly net salary by 50% next year. :jMortgage Oct '20: £615k

Good news: payday! It's been a 5 week month for me so this was sorely needed as I had some bigger than usual expenses this month (booked flights home, paid for exams I'll be sitting in December etc.).
Bad news? Well the car wouldn't start (clutch isn't working) when we were heading to the cinema last night so we ended up with unexpected taxi bills so as not to miss the film and the OH is on his way to the garage as we speak to see if they can fix it asap. Not only is that another expense but we were meant to drive up to Lincs for the weekend to see his granny and my future in-laws, and now I'm not sure if we can anymore:( Did I mention I took a day off today for the trip up..?Mortgage Oct '20: £615k

I know exactly where you're coming from with the wedding expenses. I got married in August this year and it's not exactly cheap. Tip - When looking at suppliers, don't mention the "W" word. As soon as you say wedding the price seems to double.
I second what Lucky said above. 1 comment can really help keep you on track so keep up with the diary.
Sorry to hear about the car. Hopefully it won't cost much.
