Hi
Can anyone point me in the direction of somewhere I could look at ideas for gardens that slope up. Our garden is long, not had anything done to it for years I should imagine and I want to do something with it, but because it slopes up, it tricky knowing what to do. Not been in here long, but want to do something with it.

Around here people have dealt with gardens that slop upwards in three ways.
1. Fill in to level off and put in a wall to keep it all in place (works for corner properties)
2. Terracing
3. Combination of the above, one flat bit near the house then steps to the rest of the garden

Depends how much of a slope really, Everest or South Downs?
Got a picture?
If not much slope then level bits, with supporting logs / sleepers to support the ends of the terraces, winding paths help, as do shrubs etc so you do not see the lot in one glanceEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0 -
See if any gardens near you are open to visitors - it's a great way to get ideas.
Here's one open for charity, with photos of an upward slope:
