hi all and for March am declaring £4,964 - now am going to go and have a lie down! I had a very frugal month and the eBaying, Amazoning and matched betting all went well, plus I got some cashback. I'm happy.
I'm literally turning into the hulk now
:TSO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe0 -
Some of it is back pay from my previous job. Been hard work. Need a break to be honest, maybe do a short weekend away trip in the hill/mountains would be nice.
Hard work or not it didnt kill you nor your savings
Camping or Glamping ?
Hint: The correct answer is MSEstyle
:rotfl:
Enjoy the break when you get itSO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe0 -

Two really crappy months in a row. 200 in savings for me this month (April).
Mainly because I've had massive expenses going out (new phone, new laptop, paying for flights and waiting for expenses to be paid out). Hoping I'll be able to make up for it in the next couple of months.
Hope everyone else is doing better! I haven't been able to go through all the posts - new job/no time.#115 - Save £12k in 2019 challenge: £13152.85/29419.55 - 44%

Hi all! Can i join you little merry club? I'm trying to save up for a house deposit (so a veeeery long term plan, atm) and I could use a bit of peer support
I already have allocated pots for holidays, shopping, health and extras (although in worst cases scenarios they can be cut down and used to survive unemployment), so my target is on top of them. That said, this year I am trying to save £5300 and, so far, I've already put down £1900 :j For this month I'm quite ambitious and I hope to save at least some other £500, getting my total savings to £2400GC £~~/3000 -

I'm still hanging on in there.
Wish I could muster up a bit more cash to save each month.
Hoping to bump up April's contribution a bit more yet.0 -
I've just doublechecked my budget spreadsheet and realised my formula for the savings was wrong: it wasn't taking into account the monthly savings into the shopping pot
So, I'll have to revise the total saved only for the sake of saving, and take it down to a meagre £1250  Well, nevermind, my target is still unchanged and I'll try hard to meet it anyway!GC £~~/3000
