hi guys
i need advice please.
been with a debt manament for the last 10 years all been going well until now, they have put my payments up by over £100 a month and trying to force me into iva. I simply cannot afford these payments even thought i have explained this , seems to be falling on deaf hears. (large sighs) so thinking of going it alone.in the past some of my creditors have offered to reduce the debt by half for a one off final payment, i havent had the money to do it so declined. Family have said they would club together and help in anyway they can, so is there a template letter to ask creditors to reduce debt, and how hard is it to go it alone.
thanks for any advice.

Dear Sylvia2,
I'm afraid I have no advice to give you, since I'm not in the UK and have no experience, but I would suggest moving your post or reposting in 'Debt-free Wannabe' rather than the 'Debt-free Wannabe Challenges'.Are you wombling, too, in '22? € 58,96 = £ 52.09Wombling in Restrictive Times (2021) € 2.138,82 = £ 1,813.15Wombabeluba 2020! € 453,22 = £ 403.842019's wi-wa-wombles € 2.244,20 = £ 1,909.46Wombling to wealth 2018 € 972,97 = £ 879.54Still a womble 2017 #25 € 7.116,68 = £ 6,309.50Wombling Free 2016 #2 € 3.484,31 = £ 3,104.590 -
Hi Sylvia, Hope you managed to get some help on another post.
If not, there is a good thread here which I think might have some of the help you're looking for if you haven't seen this already?
