    Sunday pleasures,

It was our Rosie dogs 13th birthday so she had bacon for breakfast and a pressie of peanut butter chews, she was kind enough to share with her doggy sister :D

We popped over to see Lulu and joked with yard pal that it was obviously bring husband to stable day as number of gentlemen were lurking, Capt S only one to be seen poo-picking!

Fell asleep on sofa in the afternoon.

More books ordered, 5 out of 6 secondhand, addiction, maybe.

Glass of wine and slice of chocolate cake whilst watching Victoria.

Almost bedtime, yet still daylight, so that can't be right! Was a shock to the system when the arm went off at 5am ( really 4am!) . I'm so used to be being up before the alarm goes off.

Work was fine, paid , though just for 4 days as off on Friday for public holiday. It will feel strange going back to Uk and getting paid monthly. Most people are either weekly of fortnightly here.

Took train to bank town, banked money from selling motor bike, train back home, all in half an hour.

Garage is almost , almost sorted. Swept out and emptied OHs workshop / office which felt a bit sad. Then son and I went to tip with last of cardboard and e-waste.

Then I may have put my feet up, snuggled with a dog and watched some stuff on iPad.

    Chips for tea.

Friend came and picked up wardrobe. Neighbour took a fan and a heater.

Some lovely dog walks with a very naughty dog, who ran into his best friend Dusty's house and ate his breakfast! Slightly mortified!

    1) we ploughed the fields and scattered at church. our organist hates the hymn but i have finally worn him down ;-)
    2) then a lovely bring and share. it had to be in the cathedral as our normal hall is being refurbished, and all worked very well
    3) then town with mum. i bought 3 much needed work shirts from the store where my DD2 works so got a discount :-)
    4) home to catch up on upstart crow while doing further sorting. A lot of hangers have been decluttered, scarves and light tops (as in weight not colour) have been marie kondo'd, shoe rack now in action (have been meaning to do that for weeks!)
    5) mr piano cooked very nice beef teryaki
    MrsSD declutter medals 🏅🏅🏅⭐⭐

At the sharp end inn the mill its is I'll scratch your back if you scratch mine!

5 Well tea was so good yesterday and as BoP did so much, we has over lefts for Gorilla Roulette later this weak! Tum was rubbed as well. BoPsie is a tad worried about the gorilla roulette but what can I do!

4 Watched the Arsenal and rugby yesterday. No money was given to the maker of books as the price was no way right for BoP! Still BoP nite out fund sits at £22 from a £5 investment a weak ago! Please be aware that investments like this are only for those who have fur!

3 News at mill has bin translated from the original English into French and then back into Anglaze! We are now to wallow in our successes! Good job from the side office, ex of humane remains, we can see the mill pond we are to herd ourselves into! The 21st century, a world of auto generated news and translations. No further action should be taken! As for the revolving door, today it is very squeaky! I think we need some 3 in 1 for the hinges otherwise it will be off! See notes passim. Just good news is chief stoker and director stoker do not have their own offices and us stokers have!

2 Nite again BoP will be boasting his ready piste body into the gym and throwing his weight around. Viewing highly recommended!

god so hated the world he created man to kill his own flock.

    Afternoon all.

On the train back from ICT where it is wet and blustery. And has beeen all weekend

    Pleasures since thursday.

    1. Submission uploaded 4 DAYS EARLY!! never in my life have i submitted anything so early.
    2. Which meant i got to come to ICT on Friday.
    3. Railway AGM, crikey it was boring. the pleasure was i went to vote for a friend to get onto council - which he did.
    4. Pub after, and then meal with friends and back to pub. I stopped drinking quite early so woke up clear headed yesterday.
    5. Made bakewell tart for the meal on saturday, first time i've ever made it. it went down welll.
    6. Did nothing yesterday. Don't think I have put so much effort into doing nohting. WEnt for a walk, read my book (which i started on Friday and finished yesterday), did some crocheting on a throw that I am making to finish up odds and s-ds of wool. Watched TV
    7. OH came back from his hols yesterday - I will see him tonight
    8. Nice food had all weekend.
    9. nice bath this morning. Watched Safe House
    10. Cleaned the house, went for another walk.

Edit: remembered another - found £20 in the back pocket of my ICT jeans. i donated it to the new carriage fund.
    Have a nice afternoon all.
I wanna be in the room where it happens
  • 1) picking up a bag of conkers to take to the Zebra child when we go later this week to baby sit yet again, because he asked me to!

    2) Nice wild and windy walkies with Cookie this afternoon, certainly blew away some cobwebs.

    3) The lounge is nearly painted and the off white is very smart, just the chimney breast to go and then we'll call in an estate agent or two and get ourselves valued.

    4) Decision on the store room made, going to shed ALL surplus to needs and that includes baby equipment that they've maybe used once and also buy storage baskets to take things like candles and boxes of matches to make it look lots tidier and keep things together.

    5) Weather forecast is for cooler nights as of tonight, perhaps sleep will be an option too? I certainly hope so!

Yesterday was ok but nothing was needed volunteer wise, so rather than sit about I foraged while dh socialised. I got a few pounds of rosehips and when we got back we fell asleep for 2 hours in the evening ops.

    For today
1 It’s my busy week which is fine just a bit tiring, another timesheet was signed off today.
2 Dinner leftovers from yesterday quiche with mash and salad.
3 Sent a scathing email to DF’s council who have been getting his bill wrong for months, refusing not to take off the 7 weeks he was in hospital and now showing it as a debt. Sort of a pleasure to be able to assist, but I don’t appear to be getting anywhere, my next step will be to try and get another discharge note from the hospital but I can’t see that being forthcoming.
4 About to burn 2 bags worth of office paperwork, in a homemade incinerator of a rounded fireguard, I think it will be rather therapeutic.
5 It’s just nice to be home as the nights noticeably draw in the want to be “hygge” is creeping in.

    1. School reunion yesterday was quite fun, good to wander around with some chums reminiscing about old times :)

    2. KW *swoon* and his general amazingness :)

    3. DD and her all-round wonderfulness :)

    4. Not crying in front of a certain person who has made me feel pretty pants. Shame I have to work with said person for the foreseeable future but I will pretend that I've been given "constructive criticism" and do my best.

    5. I sent an email to MrM's supermarket about earning points and not seeming to get a voucher and rather than get bolshy, they're happily going to credit my account with the points that seem to have disappeared. Great customer service :)

  • When BoP was young, old codger BoP said if there was no such thing as a toy gun. If I wanted such a thing, join up a fire a proper one. I did so!

Tonight I was again Inn emporium and parked trolly to block items of evil.

I have not ever once changed my opinion on this. From parcel to the rich in Ethiopia 1984, prior to some b lust singers. Nor just a week ago.

And my comment earlier about god. As you are aware I do write my BoPsphere words without recourse to tv news, not watched since 21:33Z 1982-05-03!
5 So pleased I managed to remove some evil tack from the shelves of the emporium yesterday. Please do the same. It is just one small step from thinking innocent about paying over the odds for a piece of tack that looks harmless, yet contributes to a fest of evil. There is no place for this. I used to enjoy having my birthday on bonny night, yet today, in the lead up to it, a lust of envy and greed that diminishes the enjoyment. What was a celebration is now tainted with hate.

While evil remains on the shelf, there can be no pleasure.

That food stuff pumpkin could feed the world. Greed and evil makes you only one pay day from ...
