I have worked out my 1% is £114. I won!!!8217;t lie I am feeling a bit daunted that my 1% is over £100, but I like the idea of only being 100 payments away from being debt free! Very motivating...

Hi rexelpink, welcome to the 1% challenge. I've assigned you number 43. If you could mention your number when you check in that'd be great. Good luck with you 1%s.

Yay! Got paid my £125 switching bonus from the bank. That plus a few more ebay and one gumtree fiver makes me:

    #38 @ 17%

I am off tomorrow so two more parcels to post and I am going to photo at my clothes for the next batch of items to be listed :) will be great when they are gone as they take up more room then the other items I cleared.

  • Hi, can I join please, i'm keen to get started with this and post for motivation. Many thanks!
  • Just want to say everyone is doing so well! It is very motivating to see everyone get towards their totals, whether smaller or larger amounts!

Photos taken for listing my clothes. Just have a few that need an iron before taking pictures. I also pulled a few bits into a bag for the charity shop, so more room :)

Whilst doing this I received another sale, £9 profit in this one so now #38 @ 18% . I am determined to get to 20% by the end of the month! Feels amazing that just this extra effort is getting me so close to my goal.

I also realised that all my makeup and beauty listings (my first batch of listings) and all my seeds (2nd batch of listings) have all sold, which is fantastic and feels like a proper clear out has been done. Just half the jewellery listings left to sell through and then these clothes. I am not sure what the next batch of items will be... I think I need a craft clear out, and I have a few collection only items...

I tried this challenge a few years ago but wasn't honest with myself and continued to spend and increase debt whilst paying my 1%.
So, my debt is really daunting and feels pretty insurmountable right now. For that reason , I am going to set my target at 0.5% if that is ok?
