    I have just unlocked my sons 3220 using advice from Browntoa (thnx) and unlock.nokiafree.org. Like the 6320i, this phone needs an alternate sim to unlock. I didn't realise there's a five-try limit, and thought I'd blown it, it worked 1st time with the new (Virgin) sim inserted.

    why is it so hard to unlock the new nokia 6680?

    because nokia have changed the way these are locked
    like the 6630 these are BB5
    atm the only way is through your service provider.

    Ok, thats it, I give up. My fiance is going to mash my face up if I don't unlock her new phone soon.

    A month ago, I bought a Nokia 3220 Star Wars Orange pay as you go package for myself for 50 notes. I used an unlock calculator (the online Nokiafree one), and the code work perfectly first time, no probs. Note that I unlocked my phone without a sim inserted. I can't remember exactly how to use it, but I gave it a go on my fiances' new phone, but alas to no avail! I've used 3 different codes, and none of them work so far. So 2 attempts left before I take it dahn the market and give it a proper unlocking. Also, whats this I hear about 3220b's? Do they not unlock without a cable?

    Any help would be mahoosively appreciated!

    should still be able to get unlocked by cable
    it will say on the imei sticker if its 3220 or 3220b (not heard of 3220b though)
