So after the old thread disappearing, this seems to be the new thread for discussion relating to prolific academy.

Standard rules please. No abusive posts, no flaming. Lets just make some money, and have some fun.

    Yeah, snap. What happened?

They have possible requested it be removed so we can't alert each other to surveys? Or discuss their sampling methods?

Seems a bit odd though- alerting people to surveys is completely harmless and about 95%+ of anything that was written about them was positive. Any grumbles were only like standing round the water cooler at work having a little moan about the boss.

I wonder if anyone will tell us why it was removed? Or if there is anything to stop a new one going up?

Totally possible, but unless someone tells us, we cant know. Im not sure why MSE would delete a thread for that though, as they are not related to prolific afaik.

I always accidentally mark things as spam when scrolling on my ipad as the button for it is where I naturally touch the screen to scroll. I press the button again when I notice its gone purple to switch it back off again though (I hope that works!) Really hope I didn't cause this

Unless it was spam-buttoned by someone from PA? What good are completion codes to anyone who has not completed that particular survey to the researcher's satisfaction? They can always reject the submission. Never heard of a thread, as opposed to a single post, being deleted because of a spam button.

Glad we're back, well done, blackste.
