I am adding my own reason in for saving these 0.50p's so you can feel free to do the same if you want.

2 x 50p's this week. My total now stands at £3.

I am also changing the reason for saving, as 2017 is not going the way I had planned it to ,Dolly Rocker from Holiday food and drinks to a treat for myself.

More in there than I had realised. Trying to pay for more things in cash so more 50p opportunities.
2017- 5 credit cards plus loan
Overdraft And 1 credit card paid off.

    Ah that's not a problem .

Nothing in particular, although looking to see how much I manage to end up with come Christmas, and put it towards gift buying.

I really like the idea of the challenge, 50p isn't something I tend to miss and plus it forces me to withdraw rather than use plastic !

Ooh glad I found you all here! Saving 50ps is my thing: use them for mortgage overpayments. I've a piggy bank I've been using and it's not been emptied since just before Christmas so would love to join you. My target will be £150: I don't keep tabs of what I put in as I like the surprise!
