Mistakes happen and I think the key maybe is that you have
used Travelodge in the past so you are a valued customer

Contact the CEO and be honest with him that is was a genuine
mistake and ask him to get it cancelled

    grant.hearn@travelodge.co.uk

Thanks i will see if he can help

    already had a reply, :(:(:(

    Dear Mr Birks,

Thank you for your email. Mr Gowers, our Chief Executive, has asked me to respond on his behalf so that we might resolve your issue as swiftly as possible.

I am sorry to learn of the issues which you have experienced whilst you have been on your holiday and the car park fine which you have received having unknowingly parked in the Travelodge car park instead of the Asda one.

This is a matter which you will need to take up directly with the car parking company who issued you with the fine, as you were not residing with a Travelodge this isn't a situation which we can become involved with.

I do hope that this matter is resolved swiftly for you.

    Kind regards

Hmm, do let the lady know that you are a customer and this now
depends if they want you as a future customer or maybe Premier Inn would now be your choice.
Can you prove your previous stays

I have read the newbies thread. The carpark is in Poole in Dorset and we live in Nottingham so i have no chance of taking any pictures unless anyone else has shared something similar online.
On the appeal form it asks for personal details. I was not the driver or owner of the vehicle so can i appeal on behalf of my husband. But i wasnt sure if you should admit to being the driver

You've read the NEWBIES thread, which does not tell you that you have to take pics and does not tell a driver to appeal...only the registered keeper. Already explained there.

You are not appealing 'on behalf of' anyone - the rk appeals. The person named on the letter. Especially with Smart Parking, do NOT say who was driving, oh my Lord that's what wins it!

Use the template in the NEWBIES thread and watch Smart run away.
