Does anyone have any experience of this, please?

I'm especially interested to hear about the prices for them to store your items, mine would be very small so I could fit hundreds into the cubic foot but I'm not so sure about the £400+ if it's still there (hopefully not!) after 6 months and the return or scrapping fee, is this price per cubic foot or per item?

I'm afraid I can't answer your question but it may get some informed responses on the Ebay board where Amazon is also discussed from time to time.

I'm a heavy user of FBA, the rate card for all their services is on their website.

To put it simply only send to FBA what will sell in 3 months. At first send one case, and then send more if it sells.

Amazon can block your products if you have too many complaints, if they think it is hazmat, or needs to be reviewed or if they have a complaint that it is fake or counterfeit.

I just keep 30 days worth in it at a time and then send more as it sells, I currently have 2 products under review which cannot be sold but I still get charged storage.

Also, be aware that some items of yours may be co located with identical items of other sellers, once they are with Amazon you have no way of knowing what was yours.

I asked for some of mine to be returned and what I received were not mine, dusty, labels, not so good condition.

I agree only store what you think will sell in a couple of months. FBA fees can add up. Depending on the size of your range, margin and how competitive it is.

I used to have the premium account meaning you can sell in Amazon Europe and not pay the nominal per item fee. Thinks it 0.10p. Premium costs £30 per month.

To be honest though I only sell a couple of bits on there now as my products are geared more towards businesses rather than individuals.

Thanks, all, I would be selling greetings cards so each box would contain hundreds of the same item.

They would be barcoded and unique designs so no chance of getting mixed up with anybody else's stock and I was thinking of starting with a small amount of just one design to test the water.

I'm still a bit confused about costs if they have to be returned though. If I send them a box of 100 and only 50 sell will I be charged one return fee for the box containing them or a return fee for each of the 50 that didn't sell?

You would be charged 60p per card for return or 20p for it to be thrown away per card.

All the charges are on the rate card on the Amazon website.
