Get your part time job in a store you frequent often, so you will benefit from the staff discount ;)
Or get a job in a club or a bar where you may get free entry on nights off, or free drinks ;D

just to make it clear, for the pizza hut one, you have to have a proper University NUS card - the "associate" ones you can get in 6th form get you nothing :(

however if you are in 6th form and under 18 you can get a Dubit card https://www.dubit.co.uk that gets you 10% off at pizza hut and special offers and so on

  • Its really annoying as my uni is not part of NUS and so most places I dont get discount unless the person can't be bothered to look at my ULU card closely.

As I understand it, if it's a student discount and you are a student then it doesn't matter whether you are a member of the NUS.

I presume, since you have a ULU card, that you are at Imperial College? If so, take your stamped letter from the registry for the current year, your college ID card and the league tables from the Times showing Imperial as number 3. Ask them why they refuse a discount to you (a genuine student) yet people doing soft media studies or art 2 day a week degrees get a discount
