I have never used a slow cooker in my life but someone's given me a kenwood curry cooker which I think is just a gimmicky slow cooker but could there be any differences which would effect how I follow recipes?
Since I'm here too, anyone got any good veggie recipe resources for it?

I've just had a look on Amazon, and it does just look like a slow cooker. I like the purple though
I've got a Feal Food Vegetarian Recipes for your Slo-Cooker book by Annette Yates, published by Foulsham.0 -
I would say that where possible, always get a Slow Cooker with a 'temperature control'.
I bought mine because it was a Morphy Richards with a very accurate digital timer etc; however, when I started to use it, I very soon realised that there is no way of changing the temperature . Most disappointing, but I got it at a bargain price AND it's 6.5L, so I kept it.
But next time .....................................0
