Have a look at BA flight and hotel, Virgin and also Expedia.
Also look at Norwegian flight only fares.
Where in the UK are you?
Be careful of cheaper options via Iceland, changing planes in the middle of the night on the return can be painful.
Also look at any hotel taxes that may not be included and could have to be paid locally.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -
I've got a very good deal on accom, so cheap in fact, now I need cheap flights, it's looking like about £300 each, but is it possible to get cheaper?Nothing has been fixed since 2008, it was just pushed into the future0

Any idea how much to hire a car, as we want to go about 2 hrs north of the city one day?Nothing has been fixed since 2008, it was just pushed into the future0

Look at google maps to see the nearest car rental place to where you are staying, then look at their website and check their opening hours to see if they suit you, then check the prices at https://www.carrentals.co.uk for that specific location.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

Also check out which car you are hiring to see if it has a sat nav in it.
We bought one to take over with us for our road trip and pre-programmed lots of routes into it.
We picked up our car from Avis just off 7th avenue and the sat nav didn't work - we initially thought it was because of the dense high rises but it wasn't - the windscreen was blocking the signal so we had to rely on our phone to get us out of the city (which was easy in hindsight) but (and sorry to get to the point so late)
When getting the car, the representative asked if we wanted to hire a sat nav and we said no.....just as well as the car had one inbuilt - but she didn't tell us. So whilst ours didn't work, we still had one to use which we didn't have to pay extra for!
So, just be aware.....0 -
