Sleep Ins for Care Agency

Options
Just wondering if anyone has any experience of this??

My Husband worked an additional job where he solely did sleep ins around 3 times a week for about £32 per sleep in.
I've been told recently that he can reclaim minimum wage per hour for these shifts which would work out to be quite a bit of money.
He's sent a very basic request (via signed for post) requesting this money and quoting a few bits we found online but I can't find anything online from people who have tried to reclaim this.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

He has already made the request, see what his (former?) employers reply with.

Yeah former - Hasn't worked there for around 2 years as they were changing the way they paid sleeps ins - Which ties into this I suppose!!
Will update when he hears something!! MENCAP website stated employers MUST pay! We shall see!

I think it is too late for him to go to a tribunal, he would need to have claimed within 3 months of leaving the job. I don't know if there is another way to claim it.
