It wouldn't work - didn't like my number apparently :( thanks though.

If I remember rightly I think I had to put a 44 in front of the phone number when I did it

Here is the link to the instructions about account verification

    http://blog.uk.swagbucks.com/2012/10/tsgs-tips-account-verification.html

I know I had to juggle the phone number a bit but it's so long ago I can't remember exactly what I did/ It does say to enter a 10 digit phone number but our mobile phone numbers are 11 digits, so you could try leaving off the first 0.

The other alternative is to ask Nick on Facebook who may be able to help

I did this last year and did receive the SwagBucks. However, make sure you read everything carefully. I found a couple of charges to my credit card from them. It was a monthly charge of approximately £7.00 for their game club. I was able to go online and cancel the subscription but it did cost me those two months' charges. I should have picked it up after the first charge but it was around Christmas time. I can only assume there was a box which you have to un-check.

Thanks janeken, this is what I meant about risky really. It's not just the worry that whatever you're downloading is riddled with spyware and stuff you don't want on your computer. These companies aren't going to give you something for nothing and paulshorse is particularly good at reading the t&c's on these offers and pointing out that if it seems to good to be true it usually is! I agree with the principle of never giving over card details, it's just not worth the bother unless you're 100% sure what you're signing up for.
