its probably not an approved use of a steam cleaner but just used mine to defrost my chest freezer! start to finish 15 mins including cleaning. It was so caked with frost that i couldn't close it properly. Took all the food out i could apart from the iced up fish fingers and peas t the bottom and used steam cleaner with the little gun attachment. Went round the edges then was able to get a spoon behind it and it came off in sheets. as i said probably not the best way but there was no damaging of the freezer like there was when i used a sharp object to get it all off

I've always used my steam cleaner. Much quicker than anything else.

I stand a fan heater in front of the open freezer door, works for me.I am not a cat (But my friend is)0

Steam wallpaper stripper works very well ....0

Saucepans of boiling water work well too, so long as child labour doesn't scald themselves (or each other...)
I have a bad feeling this snazzy tech will mean *I* am supposed to do it.0
