Orange have taken a variable adjustment charge

I am on orange pay as you go and i havnt used the phone for over a month and upon checking my account online looking at recent usuage, they have taken a £1.06 variable adjustment charge from me?

I havnt used the phone and cant find any explanation about what this was for

Have you tried phoning orange and asking?

well no because they charge you to ring and this is just an old phone i keep for emergencies so now only 25p credit on it. I was going to pop into an orange shop and ask them but i just wondered if anyone knew the answer.
