Can I join again for £10 a day please. Have decided to have a go at matched betting this month. Have opened a pockit account to use for this and have received a £5 bonus on my deposit from them so starting off the month with £5

I am curious as to how you are finding the matched betting? I have read up on it and am currently on the fence as to whether I want to commit myself to do it or not. Have changed my mind a million times!

There is a matched betting board on MSE - you might find some relevant info and help on there HTH

Just converted 1280 Eon points to Tesco Clubcard points, they could mean #60 worth of meals out but I'll only count them as what they'd be if I used them for my shopping.

  • so a busy week...didn't get on ebay yet but my second car (and only car due to the scrapyard) did pass its MOT today (with NO advisories! phew was expecting to buy tyres and brake discs)

I got a £5 discount on the MOT fee for booking online (although the website wasn't working...it literally pays to complain haha)

Also decided that slimming world costs too much...I may gain in pounds of weight but at least i will save the £s that matter! So I returned a 12 week plan I had bought...and a cookbook... £49.95 and £4.95 back...

    Found £1.05 roadkill

Got free airshow tickets worth £66 (and was having to go anyway)

My dad gave me £40 towards school uniform costs too ...

£77 refund from school bus pass...decided I will try driving the school run and attempt to save some money by linking the journey in with the grocery shops and charity shop trips, swim clubs etc...

So far a total of £776.82 scraped together for this month...I am paying all the actual money to credit card #1... then I will clear #2... then tackle #3...but they are a long way off yet!!!

on paper it sounds awesome... and i will keep going!

    good luck everyone else xxx

QJ, it took me 16 months to have a go at matched betting, I read from lots of sources but was so nervous, still am a little bit. Use any free tutorials you can, they really do help, but if you are uncomfortable Walk Away.

Sending positive thoughts for whichever way you decide ☺

Thanks :) - I have read up a bit and read tutorials etc. Was potentially thinking of doing one bet to see how it goes and take it from there. It sounds silly, but part of what puts me off is signing up to lots of betting websites due to hassle.. in theory that is less hassle than all the surveys I am doing though. Will have a further think about it..
