I have the added bonus of not having to pay tax unlike your friend!

How does Western Union work? Can I pop in in the US with $50k in cash and then pick that cash up in the UK, minus a few fees?

You can carry as much cash as you like, you just have to declare it if its over $10,000 and be able to prove where it came from (i guess you would get some kind of receipt for the winnings?)

So I have decided to stay at a excalibur. It was actually 500 more for mirage including fight night. So I could not justify it.

I have three MGM rewards. Has anyone advice on what rewards that don't count as part of this?I heard hex was located near Paris so we could get a free cocktail there.
Are there any others? Located on strip and not too far out?

    Thanks

Literally anything that's not an MGM hotel. So Wolfgang Puck, House of blues, Foundation Room, Hexx, Maverick Helicopters, etc.

  • There's a Wolfgang Puck reward that doesn't count towards your three that seems particularly good - $25 off when you buy two entrees (when I looked entrees start at around $18 I think). I had it but returned it just because we didn't get there while we were in Vegas

The x2 Foundation Room access is very good too, if you can get it. We used it last trip and I've got it again for this year as we enjoyed it so much. Stunning location.

We had dinner reservations last time so couldn't spend as much time there as we would have liked. If you do go, go early evening so you can watch the sun set and the Strip start to light up.

The locations are on each reward if you click on them. I believe the two entrees one is for the Bar and Grill at the MGM Grand.
