May 2015 Weddings

So 51 days left to finish all the little bits, and big bits and in preparation for the best day ever!! :j
- Finished my favours last night which are little bottles of red skittles flavoured vodka, with a cute sticker on the front with our names and date of the wedding and a cartoon bride and groom.
- Did our gift list zapping finally last Friday on Bank Hol day off.
- Sent all the evening invites out now.
- Re-checked my budget spreadsheets to make sure we have cash for everything.
- Paid half the make up artist costs for the big day.

Main things left:
- Pay final balances
- Buy/Pack honeymoon clothes and suitcases.
- Hair Trial
- Final alterations appointment
- Final suit fittings
- Collect Notice of marriage forms and send all forms to registrar
- Make table plan
- Make name cards
- Send final numbers and food options to Venue
- Buy/Make table decorations/sparkles
- Buy guestbook
- Make photo collage
- Buy remaining thank you presents
- Send shoes to be dyed
- Buy grooms shoes
- Book bouncy castle

- Hair trim 2 weeks before
- Nail Appointment (Thurs before)
- Family meal Thursday before
- Take all items to venue Friday before
- Chill out on Friday night with bridesmaids etc
- Saturday 30th wake up to get married

Really not too much left to do now eeek can't believe its only 7 weeks away! for something that I've been planning for the last 15 months.

First up though it's my hen do 2 weeks before. I have some evil bridesmaids/sisters/mum who are all winding me up. They no I like to organize and control things grrr! :mad:
Thought they were supposed to make me less stressed about my wedding. :cool:

Oh well shall have to embrace it and just have fun and get drunk when I get answers to the quizzes/dares wrong :rotfl:

Omg I get married in two weeks!!!!!!!!!!!

Everything is done (I think!) except the last alterations on the dress but they'll be done this week. Oh and I'm waiting for my blue ribbon laces for my shoes. But other than that I think I'm done!! Where has the time gone??!!!

Wow Dundeediva that's so soon!!
How are you feeling nervous/excited.
I have 5 1/2 weeks to go and last night was the first proper time I haven't slept well for thinking of things that need to be done still.
Have got myself a little note book to write all my lists in yesterday.
I have such butterflies (or should I say caterpillars in my stomach today).
I think it's probably because my hen is at the end of this week and that will really make it feel real!

me too purple, didnt sleep well last night and feeling sick now. just want it to be here now haha.

had 1 hen doo, went abroad, having a second local one this weekend.

It sjust making sure i havent forgot anything now

This must be how brides lose weight in the last month or so before the wedding, stomach is still feeling in knots this morning, but slept better last night.
Didn't make it to the gym last night as work delayed me, however determined today as hoping I'll get some happy endorphins from it!
Also a little worried as had my initial dress alterations appointment 3 weeks ago and they said it should only take 2 -3 weeks, then they'd call me to come in once it was done to try it on again. No call yet, but no news is good news yeah??

I have the same wedding date as you Purple. Am getting scared/anxious now. Sure I still have loads to do (I dont but it feels like it!!) Also need to write lots of lists to get stuff done.

I have my hen abroad next friday, really looking forward to that one! What are you doing for yours?

What do you still have left to do?

3 days to go!

I think I'm all sorted now, opened my jewellery box to find my necklace in two separate pieces (sob!) but went in town today and bought a better one instead &#55357;&#56835;. Have written my list of what needs packed for me and dd (2) for the night before and night of. Had final venue meeting today too to hand in bits for reception and check everything is done.

I had last minute alterations done to my dress too and it looks fabulous! So lucky that the seamstress was accommodating, she replaced my back panel, gave me a longer corset tie, added a few beads that were missing and created a bussle. Did it in 6 days and for £45! She's done such an amazing job, I'm over the moon!

Now to try and sleep...any recommendations as to how I'm meant to do that??!!
