Still showing on Bankruptcy Restrictions Register?

Hi all,

Accepted a BRU earlier in the year for which details were added to the Bankruptcy Restrictions register.

From my understanding this is only meant to show people that have been given a BRU/BRO within the last 3 months yet this time has long passed as is the case for many others on there.

Is there someone I must contact to have this updated?

EDIT: Also I have noticed that the BRU also shows on the Insolvency Register. No big deal, however will this be removed after being discharged or will it be visible for the length of the BRU?

In normal bankruptcy, your details will remain on the insolvency register for 15 months.

However, if you have a bankruptcy restrictions order, your details will appear on the insolvency register, which any member of the public can view, until the order ends.

This can be for anything from two to 15 years.

Hi sourcrates, thank you for your response.

Sorry, I don't think I've given enough information. I'm aware I will be on the insolvency register until 3 months after discharge, however there is a separate database with details of people who have a BRU/BRO.

According the the government site, this should only show BRUs from the last 3 months however I am still shown on here yet it is well over 3 months?

I have had to edit your post to remove the link with personal details on it.

Google throws up nothing further, there is an email address on the register page with which you can submit queries, I think that is your answer.
