Best place to sell diamond engagement ring

Hi all,

I want to sell my diamond engagement ring, it is 0.25 carat and is white gold, it has a valuation certificate of £2500, but when I tried to sell it back to the jewellers they offered me £400!! Can anyone recommend the best place for me to sell it? Thanks

I had a slightly higher valued ring (also white gold) and had various estimates from local jewellers and in Hatton Garden ranging from £50 to a few hundred. The best price I got was via ebay for £623.

Unfortunately there isn't much value in second hand jewellery for sellers - unless you're selling as retail!
