Redundancy - PILON/TUPE

Options
Parent company has 2 businesses, Company A which I work for (been there for 18 months, so no redundancy payment) and my contract is with, and Company B.

Company A is in administration, everyone is being made redundant unless they can be TUPEd over to company B.

I was told at the start of the consultation period that I'm getting PILON from next week for 3 months, however today, someone in Company B with a somewhat similar role to me has resigned and I've been told I'm being considered for the role, however this role requires regular travel and I have family commitments which would make this impossible. In addition the role, although of a similar level is quite general whereas mine is specialised - example: his role: project manager, my role: business change project manager, so career progression wise not the best idea.

I'm wondering what happens to the PILON in this situation? If I got this role would it be a TUPE even though the job titles/roles are different, so no PILON, and my holiday allowance etc. carried over? If I get the role then turn it down because of the reasons above will I still get the PILON?

TIA!
