Do I have to invite all my friends/family's children?

    It IS your day and you should do what you want - however you do need to be prepared for people to turn down an invite that is difficult/impossible for them to attend


    Just my opinion, I think you need to have either one rule or another, you cant split families like that - to a family occasion, invite little kids whilst their 11 year old sibling doesn't get an invite, I think it would go down better if kids were not invited at all - or all kids were invited
    The opposite of what you know...is also true

    I invited some friends with kids and some without. Just made sure everyone knew who was invited.

    Family again, my brothers kids invited, hubbies family kids weren't. Invited who we saw regularly, didn't invite who we didn't. Who we wanted there, who we didn't.
    Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....
