    Bit late at updating I'm afraid. I made a £500 overpayment in March. This has knocked five months off my mortgage according to the calculator although the letter from the building society seems to imply seven months.

    I haven't worked out my saving yet for April, so will update that when I can.

    Afternoon all.
    What lovely weather we are having.

    Yesterday in a moment of madness I decided to ring the B/S to get a redemption figure for our mortgage as the Britannia are not online and haven't had a statement since 31/12/10. The figure quoted was £5600. I have saved up nearly 4K so am only £1600 short (only haha) so i am on target to be mortgage free towards the end of this year.

    No. 41 Made a £500 overpayment today. Hopefully my letter from my building society will come after all the bank holidays with new lower mortgage payment.
