£50, brought back from work and added to the pot, from maturing Regular Saver.

Not sure how much more will fit in my pot,

    I think i'm nearing limit.

I will be waiting for the new £1 to come out then im going to swop them all out again

    Afternoon potters :hello:

It's a 'stripey' day here atm - quite warm but windy with alternating sunshine and showers.

Just packing the cases ready to go to warmer (fingers xd) climes in the morning for two weeks :D

I have emptied, counted and banked most of the monies in my pot - so added £340 to my siggie :j

Hope you all are keeping well and enjoy the next couple of weeks.

Hi potters! It's been a couple of months since I've updated but there's been nothing to update unfortunately.
End of Jan and Feb have been really heavy expenditure. Dog insurance at the end of Jan then car insurance second week in Feb then the first 12000 miles came up on the car and I had to have it serviced :-( urgh .

Luckily I co-own the car (on paper) with my Dad . He gave up driving a few years ago (he's 89 now) but we needed a big car to fit wheelchair & walking frame in , so I part exchanged my car and he put in cash and we got a Dacia Logan mcv last year. Fantastic car & a lot of car for the price. Anyway, I digress lol. Dad helped with the service costs but still a heavy time financially.

So, today 2 x plastic fivers in the £5 stash. £4 in the £1 coin tin and a few odds in the shrapnel tin. Up and running again xx

I hope everyone has had a really good week. Have a wonderful weekend also folks! :D Never stop potting what you're able to, a little or a lot it's still safer in your pot!!! :j For all those of you who might be a little poorly or who are feeling low for whatever reason then here are a load of good wishes and very many {{{{hugs}}}} to help you feel much better very soon! :grinheart

Thanks so much for the Birthday greetings, Antomac, belated or not they still so much. Birthday greetings also to your Mum and Sister! :T

You're so right about that £8 potted, added to what you've saved already I'm sure you're doing really well. Always try to imagine just what you might have in that treasure trove called a pot Ant!!

I was starting to consider potting very 'un-spare' change because my pot was looking so sorry for itself. But! I found a dusty old £1 in a handbag I sold on eBay whilst packing it up to send today, and so that went in. My poor old olive tub dreams of better days gone by, when he was full!

A darn good job you checked inside the handbag before you packed it up, Pennydreams3, thoughts that you might have sent it on to someone else don't bear thinking about!!

If it's possible to budget a little more carefully then go ahead and see if you're able to feed your Olive Pot a bit more....you never know! See, there's another 50p gone in with your last post!

Good work with the potting 32b3! It's marvellous that you're so consistent and spur others on as a result!! :j

Yet ANOTHER plastic £5er 3forholidays! :D They'll soon have to print more - all because of you!!!! :rotfl: Brilliant work!

10p is good Florence and so much better than 0p! ;)

    A belated happy birthday Sue

Lovely day, out with the in-laws for lunch. One week in to FIL's chemo treatment, but by jove I was exhausted by MIL's chat! :rotfl:

    £3.58 potted, swelling the coffers a bit! :j :j

Many thanks for the greetings Vicky, as I said to Ant, they're still as precious even if they're belated. :D

I sincerely hope your FIL's treatment will help him be free of cancer. Meanwhile if your MIL has anything to do with it at least he won't have too much chance to think about it
Great savings btw....especially that which you grabbed of hubby's - bonus for certain!!!!! :T

A lovely amount potted, siju, very well done!! Yes life can be quite hectic at times especially when you're working, but as well as your Birthday Day and Mothers Day you've now got a super break to look forward too!!! :j Enjoy the excitement of it all as each day approaches and have a fantastic time!!!

Great seeing you back so soon KONG, very good potting too! :D

Brilliant work Treasurequeen! Be sure to keep up the momentum! ;)

Fantastic saving Westie!!!!! :j I shall be doing the same with the £1 coins and playing safe.

Amazing savings Lynne!!! Thanks for popping it on your siggy. I know you're jetting off this morning and can't read this but have an amazing time away in the sun!!!! :grinheart

Heavy expenses for you since Christmas then, owlet, it's always a hard time anyway but especially for you with all those car costs; what a treasure your Dad is to be helping you so much :kisses3:, still it's obviously working well for both of you which is great. Anyway, despite all that expenditure you've now potted a massive £10 with those £5ers!!!! :dance:Excellent work owlet, keep it up!!

Brilliant saving donkids22!!!! :j Well it's safely banked now, but have you added it to your siggy to make certain you don't forget to include it in your Total in November?!! Please do and please pop your No 85 on your siggy?! It's a huge help to me. :)

It's still money saved MLE007 so don't knock it!! :naughty: Regarding the £2 coins jakes-mum's had the lot!!!!! :rotfl:

Not an easy week for DH & me as we've had the funeral of my second Mum, the lady who raised me alongside her own Daughter and gave me a real family life from aged 6 on as well as teaching me all the precious things of life! She's been an absolute treasure for the majority of my life and thank God I was fortunate enough to have her for so long as she we 93!!!! :grinheartThe funeral was at Ringwood, hubby's and my hometown, so a fair bit of traveling was involved but the day could not have gone better! It was a gorgeous sunny day and so very memorable, what more could we all have asked for.

Have a brilliant weekend, Potters. Don't forget to pot what you're able to!!! :D

    Sue xx
