[/B][/I]That's interesting, it certainly used to be the Daventry one

Used to be yes but the Daventry site closed over 3 1/2 years ago.

Its now based at Barton just outside Burton.

Maybe the ex-Argos warehouse at Daventry is a Wincanton/Tesco warehouse now?
Thanks to all who post constructively.

I know this thread is a little old, but I have found another company that does Argos returns. They also deal with Tesco and Littlewoods returns. Here is the URL http://www.xcat.co.uk
Not got much to say really. :)
  • Just to add to my previous post, I have come across another site that deals with this type of stock but on an auction format. http://www.xcatauctions.com

I dont know if its anything to do with the other site or not.

  • Hi don’t buy from this site it is all rubbish Argos is selling its rubbish to people instead they throw it in bins they are selling to us I bought a full load of electrical toys and more than 75% went in the skip
So please beware am running a retail shop and I am in loss from last 6 months I bought this on a hope I will make some profit but it was a disaster for me.The stock they were showing was for 39000 and originally it was much less
If anyone knows any other web site from where i can buy some load and can make money please let me know please

a: no longer available on the web or through argos
b: with a sky high retail value eg 64meg memory sticks with an rrp of £34.99 when nowadays you can easily pick them up for a fiver.
c: stock that is still on argos.com at a much reduced price.
d: some stock -b which could be well used and scratched
e: old technology which is going to be hard to sell on.

Very good points, particularly regarding the price changes in tech gear. I think you'd have to take a very detailed look at each list, but really it seems like an interesting way to start an ebay business or get some diverse stock for your shop 0.gif

I saw something like this on eBay the other day, but I can't find it now.

I would advise anyone to look very well into this first. There was some good feedback, but also some very poor feedback.
