Westcot are worrying me slightly.

I'm on a DMP and my largest debt is with Westcot (they bought my loan from Abbey).
I've been on the arrangement with Westcot for at least 12 months and about 8 months before that with Abbey.
Two days ago I received a letter from them offering me a full and final settlement figure (which I can't accept). However, today I received a call from them when I was out, my husband told them when they could find me in and they said they'd call. They haven't.
I'm up to date with my payments and I'm not at my 6 month review time yet.
Do you think they are just following up the letter they sent? Am I worrying unnecessarily?

In a word yes. All they did was offer a full and final figure, if you can't afford it stick to your payment plan.Barclaycard 3800
Nothing to do but hibernate till spring

Try not to worry too much. If you are up to date with your payments then they are probably just following up the letter to see if you are in a position to pay. If you aren't then just carry on as normal until your next 6 month review.0

Thanks both. It's been ages since I had any calls from my creditors so I've been really worried.
I'll stop worrying until they contact me again.DMP mutual support number 174Total debt now (April 10) £0! - total paid off £30,221 or 100%I'm now debt free after 6 years!!:jNon smoker since June 2006 :j0
