Hi, can i please join in? I have £6723.12 of debt and REALLY dont want to enter 2018 with any debt.
I am a full time carer for my 17 year old son with Autism and other issues, so on a tight budget to pay off debt.
My friend also has a similar amount of debt, and we decided to make it a little competition as to who would clear their debt first. However, i am single and she is married, so they have double the income!0 -
Afternoon all.
One little result for me today, After ringing the council regarding an over payment I've been paying back for years, (I was ringing to up my monthly payment) I've found out that it the balance is £20 less that I thought. (One months payment I forgot about a couple of months ago) therefor I shall be finished paying that one off in 3 months!
So....that's another £20 quid off my total. #66 £318/28890 -

Phew! Have paid off all Dec CC bills (£1943!!!:eek:) so can now start tackling this year's £10k target - need to do a reasonably big chunk this month (some savings will be used) - am likely to update towards month end once all DDs have gone out and I know exactly where I stand - I tend to stash all extra money (paypal, cashback, account rounding etc) in a separate account and then make one extra payment a month xI am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £200
