I have a tree that you put together like this (had it for about 6 years now) bit fiddly but nice and full, got it from B&Q at £70 at the time so £15 seems a bargain.
They are good if you put the tree in the corner, don't use all the bottom branches at the back and it lets you push the tree further into the corner without it sticking out into the room so much.
Thanks pamelab21 - having dissed the tree as laughable I can see where it might be really appropriate....... looking again ha ha:beer:0 -

I might try this, I can only usually have a slim tree, maybe i can leave some of the branches out and it will fit, other wise I'll have to re home it0 -
i need to convince my oh to buy a new tree this year need a real bargain any ideas?0

I have a tree with hang-on branches and LOVE it! Each branch gets a good shaping before hooking on (working from bottom to top) and the kids love working with me. The result is a much fuller, 'real' look and the packing away is very easy too in a zip up tree storage bag.
We always leave off the back thirdish of the tree so it takes up less room and no one has ever noticed!:xmastree:Self Certified Christmas Addict:xmastree:0 -
£15 tree from http://www.northeastbargains.co.uk/electrics/xmas-tree-unchecked-argos-returns-6ft-fibre-optic.html
Just put ours up. Very nice. All working and good lighting effects. The only thing I would say is We think adding lights to it would spoil the effect.Be ALERT - The world needs more LERTS0 -
B&Q have a 7ft artificial tree for £35 at the moment. It's the cheapest 7ft tree I have come across so far. Not sure how long the offer is on for and they were selling like hot cakes in my local store.

Tree on a budget? Go to any [STRIKE]tip[/STRIKE] recycling centre, any week of the year and get someone else's discard for a couple of quid. Lots of people seem to get rid of their tree every year, or couple of years, when they're still absolutely fine.Reason for edit? Can spell, can't type!0

I got this one last year, they had them reduced by about 60% and then had a 20% off promotion for b&q members, I paid about £16 for it. Not sure how close to christmas but must have been a few weeks before it. It also has the detachable branches but they were colour coded and hopefully won't be too much bother to put back up. It is a really nice tree though.
*Got it on or before 8th December0
