Well not a lot of decluttering done today, due to work, lunch with friend and swimming lessons, followed by tantrum by OH because he has been summoned for Jury Service, but I did manage

    25. 3 tins left from box of expensive cat food that fussy cat refused to eat - gifted to work colleague with cats.
    26. Broken bath lily - to bin.
    27. Carrier bag of rubbish to bin from the mobile skip AKA the car!!!!

Hopefully have a few more things lined up for the off for tomorrow, but never actually count things into my total until they actually leave the house IFSWIM.

  • Done no decluttering today. Unless I can count the engineer disabling my faulty house alarm while I look for the best replacement...

24 MILs trousers shortened and ready to go back to her
    25 camera advertised for sale
26 George Foreman grill advertised for sale
27 microwave put out for dustmen - if they don't take it i'll have to go to the tip I guess.

That's all for now and the cat's clearly waiting for me to sit down so she can sleep. So obviously I'll do that as she's the boss!

Keep up the good work folks :T

  • Thanks for the Zapper link. They don't want many of my books and the ones they do aren't worth much but it's better than nothing! Won't count them yet as I'm still not at enough to send them away. Got a few DVDs to try next.

Charity bag came in yesterday so that's 10 books, 4 photo frames, 1 box, 5 bits of jewelry and something else gone. Pair of pyjamas in the bin as well as 2 other things at the weekend that I can't remember.

    42/100 for me now :)

My attempts so far are as follows:

2 blushers (too bright for me)

A pair of cleavage enhancers (for goodness sake i'm an E cup i dont need any help)

Large bag of screws and odd plugs (hubby is away for a fortnight which gave me plenty of oportunity to sort out the tool box)

    A large brass hook

100g or thereabouts tub of course ground black pepper (hubby decided after eating it for 20 odd years that he doesnt like black pepper)

A bottle brush (cant remember when it was last used)

160 Tea bags bought in error. I'm the only one who drinks tea and i only like Earl Grey. I'll probably give this to my friend as its unopened and only bought it a couple of weeks ago.

Large bottle of Gaviscon thats gone thick and manky. Hubby wouldnt let me throw it away and i told him it was a health hazzard so its gone.

    2 makeup brushes

    3 DVDs.

Bag of hamster food (the hamster pegged it a few weeks ago)

Cork Screw (we dont drink and cant remember the last time it was used)

Body lotion. I just dont like the smell.

Blue shoe polish (must be my daughters though she cant remember buying it and doesnt want it).

Three dog brushes (they only let me brush them with the 4th which i'll be keeping.

Still not a bag full yet so i'll continue.
