Always great deals via Ryanair to Montpellier, £35 return etc.
So planning a trip to Arles (Van Gogh lived there for a while and locations as seen in Ronin). So that is a day planned as it is only an hour on the train from Montpellier.
Any suggestions for other stuff to do on another day or two in and around Montpellier?

I agree with all Richard has mentioned, also Les Baux de Provence is not too far from Arles. The Camargue is another fascinating area. There are so many wonderful places in that area.0

I reckon you could easily spend a day plus in Montpellier.
Great city.
Light rail (trams ) make it easy to get around.
You won't find any better oysters than on the front in Bouzigues and if you like kite surfing or just watching it the etang near Frontignan is the place to be. Plenty of places with flamingoes around.
The ancient walls around Aigues Mortes are worth the trip. It's your money. Except if it's the governments.0
