    Morning,
just realised that I actually saved quite a bit more than I declared last night as precious £2 are saved into a terramundi pot which I shall smash (turn upside down to get them out!) only when it's full. I didn't count them in just wondering if I should this year although it might not get emptied??

Nothing to pot yet as I'm still in my pj's!

    Merry X

    Welcome Naebbirac,

Please read the top of this page for all the information you will need, including the opening date for next year (the day everyone gets excited for)

Our leader Sue will pop past at some point and allocate you a number to add to your signature. I see that you havent got a signature at the moment are you able to add one, or do you require some assistance?

Also do you know how to subscribe to this thread as it makes it a lot easier to keep tabs on and to find again when you want to update your total, this is done by clicking the thread tools at the top of the thread and clicking subscribe, you will then see this thread in your quick links top right of the page...

    Sue,

Just reading the first post and there are a few amendments/additional information to tell you about

The idea is to save as much as possible throughout the following year until just before Christmas - which this year will be to open our pots on Thursday the 5th November 2014.
this should say 2016? also the 5th is a Saturday so will it be Thursday 3rd next year?
"Where to take bags of cash at the end of the year?": With regards to this all important question, here's vital help from girlatplay: "I bank with Bank of Scotland and they accept as many change bags as you have, as long as you take them to the business banking counter." That is so handy for members to know, many thanks to GAP.

You can take as many coin bags into the Halifax and pay in over the counter, the only stipulation is that you come with them already bagged in the correct denominations (not mixed up) and that each bag contains the right amount as printed on the front of the bags,

Just thought I would let you know,

Thanks for starting the thread up again so quickly after the end of SPC ~ 8, I am ready and raring to go :-)
