B&Q Baubles for Christmas tree

Bought a box of tree baubles from B&Q reduced from £12 to £6.
When I got them home they were the kind that you had to thread yourself as there were no connecting ties to put them on the tree - the box contained very flimsy threads for this purpose.
This is a very fiddly job and I would never have bought these had I realised, but there was no indication on the box that you'd need to put all the ties on yourself.
The baubles would be completely useless to anyone with arthritis or poor eyesight. It took me well over an hour to thread 20 of them - like threading 20 needles with really fine thread.
So beware if you're buying from B&Q!

It didn't even occur to me you could buy pre threaded baubles.0

I mean, it's not a deal breaker...0

I've never seen them without the thread on them.
This was a pain having to tie each one with the very flimsy threads supplied, and despite a double knot, most of them immediately came undone and fell off the tree.
Redmike, enough of the sarcasm. I'm just pointing out that the box would have been useless to anyone elderly or with arthritis in their hands, and this wasn't made clear on the packaging.0 -
I am sure you can get hooks that save you using thread and easier to put on the tree.0

Use ordinary sewing thread. Years ago that was the only way0

My thoughts exactly, obviously I'm a dinosaur.
As my mother would have said " some people don't know they're born"!0 -
