  • i'm sure you've probably nabbed it, but there was a reward for 1000 LPs the other day, i got the link via James Hite's Facebook page.

i seemed to do quite well doing 22,500 spins on the Solstice slots.

Ah no I hadn't seen that! The Konami one? Just tried it but it doesn't seem to be working anymore. I get all my chip shares from another page and didn't see that one posted. Thank you - am now following James!

Edit - tried on my phone and it worked! Thank you soooo much - 1.6k to go, should easily hit that tonight :)

yay! yes i think it was a mobile only one :)

James posts pretty much every day and pools together a long list of links which offer free chips.

I don't play the website slots via Facebook every day, so when I do, I usually head straight to his most recent post and click all the links until I reach expired ones :)
  • Got it - two nights confirmed at The Mirage in June, $304 saved (or more like $200 based on my current offers but I'm very happy with that!)

Quite surprised they have availability for the two night reward that far into the summer - if I remember rightly, last year they stopped end of April. Hopefully we'll be able to get another night on Mr WJ's account (he doesn't qualify for the two nighters unfortunately). Then we'll just have to decide what to do for the last four nights of our trip

Quite excited about staying at the Mirage - I really warmed to the place last year and am looking forward to enjoying their huge pool!

Not been on here in a while, been away on holiday in Thailand so that has distracted me for a bit with Vegas plans. Usually we have our flights booked by now for September time. I've still not seen any fantastic deals, but BA seem to have some flights under £600 so that might be who we are flying with again.

Exchange rate doesn't seem to be improving, so the hotel will probably be a higher than usual cost again. Hopefully we can get a good deal somewhere. Also tempted to do a side trip, or fly into/out of a different airport and do a road trip if it works out well. Really enjoyed the Phoenix/Flagstaff/Grand Canyon/Oatman/Laughlin/Vegas combination, but not sure if I necessarily want to repeat it, or if it's just too soon.

Hopefully get something organised quite soon.
  • Damn it, another jackpot gone on 'Wheel of Fortune', at this rate it won't be worth winning when I get there at the end of the month. :(

Congtats to the winner though.

If you like burger joints I can recommend Cafe 6 at Plams Resort which is a little further up Flamingo from Rio. If you can get a Groupon it is a great deal.

Stuie, you say the end of May, I am not sure of your length of stay. How about Dub-Lax-Lhr sample dates 26/5 to 7/6 coming out £370 ish with BA/AA. Play around with the dates a little still around £400.
    Google flights was my friend.

    Cheers Steve..
    Dates are either: 24th May - 2nd or 3rd June , or 25th May - 3rd June
Am looking at the DUB-LAX routes already, but the flight your seeing is DUB-LAX , with stop at LHR.....
More I look, more I learn that the Ticket Agents in LAX, check your bag right through to DUB......
I found that flight with a 22hr gap, and cost is £354 (which is good!).. Over on Flyertalk, a guy has given some advice..

He said, if the LAX agent wont short check your bag, and insists on checking it right through to DUB.......
He said, I should be able to goto Baggage Services in Heathrow, and ask them to get our bags. It's not a set in stone thing, but it should work.....

The flight deals I had found yesterday, which was:
    DUB-PHL-LAS , and then LAX-LHR
LGW-DUB for £384 , that option no longer shows :( (+ £30 for single Ryanair flight)

Am trying to keep Flight costs to £420 or less (that includes the Ryanair flight).... Super MSE this time!
