There is the posibility of extending at each end depending on the flights

I have copied this from an email sent by The Cruise Village,
    25 October 2010 - 14 nights Southampton to Barbados
Visiting: Southampton, Madeira, Antigua, St Maarten, Dominica, St Lucia, Barbados
Inside cabins from ONLY £999 pp
Outside cabins from ONLY £1089 pp
Balcony cabin from ONLY £1189 pp
    CALL 01253 341014

    Thats probably P&O Oceana

Iglu say this could be as low as £899.

For Southampton departure TA's gatwick is a good choice of airport to park direct train to southamton max £10pp
  • Yep it is P&O OCeana.

    Iglu are £899 - 0208 544 6620
    Cruise are £899 plus £200 on board spend - Freephone 0800 091 4308

Here are a few more numbers to try if you want

    http://groups.google.com/group/cruise-negotiator?hl=en

I would bounce the two off each other and see how low they will go.

    Thanks

That £100pp is a P&O offer so all agents should have this.

A quick scan of TXT 228 the 14n caribbean deals are appearing just under the £1kpp for the pre Xmas period(Oct->Dec).

P&O Azura and ventura both show the £999 for some dates, any TA should be able to get these prices or better

There is a report on the cruises forum of a Xmas deal on Sea Princess in an AC for under £1500. not sure about this one princes show ACs sold out.

    A couple showing on TXT228

A Xmas and NY deal on TXT 228 celebrity £1599 no details

Probably Celebrity Mercury from Baltimore 20 Dec 15night flights and transfers

Thomson Dream TA 15n 6 Dec £699 Southampton, fly back

The RCI Independence 18n round trip Southampton med cruises in Jan/Feb should also be available with a bit of shopping around at £900 so the magic £50pppd , RCI direct prices are around £1k.

Cruise and Maritime which run the Marco Polo out of Tilbury have a few deals.

    direct http://www.cruiseandmaritime.com

The one that caught my eye on TXT was the canaries 14n 16 Oct at £599 or less through a TA.

the other ship the ocean countess also has some good pricing.

Xmas and New year are usualy peak dates so prices tend to reflect the demand from families.

Also not a lot of choice ex UK with no flying.

RCI independence has lead in price of £1499pp direct
(5% discount on cruise fare if booked on-line or should get 5% OBC with a phone booking),

TAs should be able to get this down to under £1350pp (10%+ discount) that will cover the grats.

21st Dec -8th Jan 18 nights so depending on the local school dates this may be within the school holidays or only require a couple of days off.
