    Thanks beanie :).

    It's been a productive day today :T.

    - We got work done
    - I did my walk
    - I bought some bits of food we needed
    - We joined the National Trust with our Christmas money
    - I paid NPower
    - DH collected DS1's sick note and posted it
    - I filled in my passport form
    - My payment for PA was sorted and I transfered it into my account :T.

Whilst I was buying bits in Mr M I asked how to sign up for a loyalty card to collect points, so that's all sorted now. I don't buy from Mr M that often, but when I do I may as well get points. I also found my Boots Advantage card in an old handbag and put it in my purse so I can collect points there too :T.

When DS2 was in America I was worried because DH and I don't have a passport and couldn't go out there if he got into trouble. So my stepdad offered to give me the money to get a passport, which is very nice of him :). I want to save up so that DH can get one too.

I got two more PA surveys today too, for 90p and 25p :D.

So all in all a good day's work .

  • Wow you have been productive, even I'm tired reading that.

What a nice gesture off stepdad and fingers crossed you'll get your passport back quickly xx
  • Thanks Purplemum, I hope they won't be too busy at this time of year. I just need to get it countersigned by my friend because my old passport photo is years ago and I look a bit different (older) now :(.

Sounds like a very productive day indeed :) We had to renew our passports last year, they're so expensive, very kind of your step dad to pay for yours.

Well done on the walk today Hairy!:T. I have to get up a ruddy great hill when I walk home from the station so I know how you felt!

Handy that you found your Advantage card. I always use mine in Boots and the points are generous and quickly add up.

Good news on the passport funding as well! Has DS2 mentioned America any more?

DS2 has said he wants to go again soon but hasn't given a date yet :(. It's his 23rd birthday on Friday so at least he'll be here for that :).
