I used self scan today with no problems, a pop up came up for an item being security tagged or something (it wasnt) and the staff member came over and sorted it out, nothing was said about the many 1p items on the list ;)

Lindt Lindor Caramel 200g boxes scanning at 1p this morning. I had picked up a box last week when they were £1.12 so thought I would pick up another this morning. No SEL but went through at 1p, popped back for a few more :j

Do they go through the self scan ok? I might pop back at the weekend

I don't use self-scan, I use the hand-held self-scanner. Once the first booked showed as 1p, I carried on scanning. A couple were the real price, so I deleted them and carried on.
  • The Stockport Extra has neither aisle scanners nor hand-held scanners, how annoying, no way of checking prices until you get to self-till.
I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing! ;)

    The end is nigh
  • Found this on a clearance shelf. It was hidden behind loads of other stuff and the box is quite battered, but the product isn't damaged. It scanned at 1p!
