Can I apply again?

I applied for a Mini Isa with A&L but have decided I don't actually want to go with them because of their shoddy customer service. I received a form off them asking me to send of certified identification for them to open my account (along with information about someone elses benefits etc - who were supposed to be me!). I haven't actually sent back this form and so technically the account isn't actually open. Does this mean I can send A&L a polite (maybe) letter declining their Isa and apply for one through a different bank/bs or do I have to stick with A&L?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

If it hasn't been opened there is nothing for you to do,except open one with a provider of your choice, if it has been opened just TRANSFER it to another provider of your choice,do NOT close it,as you will not be able to open another one this tax year, the new provider will do all the work, you are not stuck with themDon`t steal - the Government doesn`t like the competition0
