Received two identical settlement figures despite having made a payment.

Good morning all,
I'm trying to pay off my extortionate career development loan from the Co-Op. I requested a settlement figure two weeks ago which came to £9333. Since then I have made a scheduled payment of £208 and requested a new settlement figure, which came to the same amount.
I haven't asked Co-Op for an explanation of this yet (if they could even give me one), I was hoping you lot could shed some light?
Cheers.

Hi there and welcome to MSE,
It is possible the requests for the settlement figure has just been done too close together and the scheduled payment hasn't yet registered. Or, if the settlement figure is offering a discount from the total balance due it is possible the £208 payment makes no difference to what they are prepared to offer.
Get a breakdown of the loan from them, they should do this through an informal request but if you have any problems you could make a Consumer Credit Act request for £1 using this letter - https://www.nationaldebtline.org/EW/sampleletters/Pages/Information-about-your-agreement-under-the-Consumer-Credit-Act-%28sole-name%29.aspx
