  • I've just made a really silly mistake around my credit cards to keep them all on 0% and I've done one of them twice! I opened the 38 month 0% being offered by Tesco and paid off my MBNA but I'd already done a transfer on that account. I haven't got any account details yet from Tesco but assuming by the time they do send it to me the balance transfer will have been done I presume the only thing I can do is draw the money out in cash? Does anyone know if I will still get charged for using the cash machine whilst my account is in credit? Or can I pay one card off with another manually? TIA - what a stupid thing to do! I do have a balance on a 6.9% card which I can use the money to get onto 0% hence why I am saying can I draw the cash from the overpaid card x

Sharronej - I did this with barclaycard once. I called them and they transferred the money into my bank account - you could try calling tesco and telling them you made an error? I wouldn't draw out in cash - you will still be subject to cash withdrawal charges :)

Thanks Kirstypoos, I phoned them today and luckily for me because it was a digital signature nothing actually happens until I phone and activate the card so they said just tell the customer services rep and she will sort it out for you - phew! It's crazy that they still charge you for drawing out when you are in credit! I think I've just been making myself dizzy trying to set a system up that'll work once and for all - I'm sick of thinking about it lol x
