    Yes as already mentioned.

I last went when mansell was racing, Tempted to to take my son BUT it is so expensive, I would want a grandstand seat (getting old) so prob looking at about £700 to £800 for the weekend staying in a tent.

    I dont think I can justify it:eek:

And then of course there is the possibility of missing England win the world cup...mmmmmm

    Sooooo...... question from another girlie.

Where is the best place to sit? It says the track has not been confirmed but it is hubbys 40th so thought I might get this for him but make sure he has somewhere decent to sit. Any suggestions please from someone who knows.

Ouch it is £25 to park your car at the circuit too!!

I've got as far as the booking step 3 and the discount is still not coming off, is it applied later in the process?
  • ^the rates showing are already discounted (shows you both prices)

Thanks olliesmummy for that ,as i'm driving from Scotland ,decided to book into the Travelodge at Stratford Upon Avon (40 miles from circuit) for £32 a night .
Gotta love a good bargain !

I can see the discounted and usual prices but when I go through, payment stage 3 shows the prices but the usual price shows of £220 each, not £187 each.
  • PARKING

I would recommend not parking on the main circuit car park, we went year before last and it took us over 2hrs to get off the car park! Bleeding nightmare put me off ever going again, that and the rain! We wished we'd have just parked on 1 of the farmers fields on way and walked to track.

I'd spend extra and go to abroad to watch one of the other races! ha ha

A lot of its down to luck. 1 year you might sit in 1 section & see all the action, the next you might see nothing.

If money was no option I would probably plump for Woodcote or Luffield. We went for Pit Straight 1 year (but that particular year nothing much happened)

However, our best ever year was the uncovered seats at Farm Straight, this was a wet race, & just about everyone went off or overtook at priory corner.

I can't comment on the other stands, but whatever you do, have a good day.
