I hope you didnt gamble last night TightRob. It will only ADD to the stress and pressure
Try and remember that any debt you might have wont get any worse by not gambling but if you continue it will.
    you can do this!

    Thank you I didn't so now it's Day 9.
I know what my worse triggers are. Being sad plus having a drink.
It was a bad day at work today so I have driven out to the pub to meet friends and am using the car as an excuse not to drink. The reality is I just don't feel stable enough to have a drink as I will get home and gamble.
It's healthier not to as well so double the benefit!

    Who chose the password Hillwalker?

    It's day 10 :j

When I installed the app, I followed the instructions and there was no option to use a password. I'm not sure what happens after a month when the trial ends, however i'm hoping the company will email me. As much as I like it, i'm not sure I want to pay another £100 for the rest of the year. Although it has helped as it blocks everything gambling related.

  • Great stuff Hillwalker17 and TightRob.

    Day 4 here.

My longest period of abstinence in the past was almost 5 years so I know I can do it.

    Day one again.
I can't talk act it right now.
  • Hi Rob,

Good for posting. I've been there loads of times. The feelings after gambling and loosing are horrible.

I found days 1-5 the hardest, but now i'm on 11 I see so many positivies. Less stress, more sleep, less worries about money.

Start from a clean slate and try getting to 5 days. Maybe posting on this forum more might help?

If you want a hand or help, you can message me. I'm not sure if ill be any help as i've relapsed a hundred times or more, but I suppose it can't hurt.

    Good Luck

Downloaded and paid for Gamblock. It replaced the internet app think on my samsung and it installed a new skiny internet explorer thing. No password came up for installation. I've tested the internet and app downloads and it works - it wont process downloading or going onto a gambling website. I don't know why it didn't ask for a password? Unless I missed it, but I certainly didn't set one.
