What's the best Fridge-Freezer

Hi All

A friend of mine is looking to buy a new fridge freezer and wants to know which is the best to get.

He's not looking for a bargain, so much as the best reviewed. 70:30 Freezer:Fridge split is ideal.

Any advice or pointers gratufully received.

Cheers, R

love my frost free Zanussi, any Zanussi fridge I had has lasted for years and years.

70/30 split, rapidly got used to only having three freezer drawers, and it's great not having to defrost ever again.

'A' rating for economy is an important point too.As is whether CFC's are used inthe refigerant- it may cost to dispose of it when it eventually breaks down for last time.

    Have a gander on here...

There really is a forum for eveything on the net.

Siemens, Liebherr or Miele seem to be the best by people who have to repair them.

Any particular model recommendations? I was looking for Liebherr/Siemens but would really appreciate if someone is using a model and can recommend it.

Thanks, Need to order soon, as finding it difficult to manage without a fridge from last 3-4 days.
