Afternoon everyone.
I need your help. I've had a read of the sticky bit can't quite get my head around what applies to me. I apologise in advance if this has already been covered.
So I have a car that is clearly accident damaged parked in a bay on my estate which is managed by Ace. The permit is clearly displayed. However the car is not taxed due to being damaged and not mot'd. I recently received the letter below demanding a payment for £100 at which point I went to see the car where I found not 1 but 3 tickets on the windscreen!
So where do I stand? Do o have to pay them all? What do I do?
CAN'T POST PICTURE DUE TO BEING NEW USER
Also the permit is expired for several years now but it is still being used by all other cars and is still accepted by ace as they didn't replace them.
Please advise.
Thanks
Sej

are you inferring that the owners of the "estate" have been using this company for several yrs?Save a Rachael

Not quite but that is also correct. What I meant was the expired parking permits have been used for many years now.0

Get the car moved ... if it's in a parking bay that others could use then it is NOT on private land (as far as the law is concerned), so if it's not taxed then you could be in for a shed load of bother from DVLA if they ever come hunting.0

I am continuing this on pepipoo where we can see their letterSave a Rachael

But if it's this thread

Then it's either a different OP (huge coincidence) or they are playing dumb for some reason.0 -

I have no idea what pepipoo is! Also my plan is to have the car repaired. It has been parked there a couple of months.
As for dvla, it's on a private estate does that still apply?0 -
Something very fishy going on here.
Check the payment section of the letter posted on Pepipoo, where the reg of the vehicle hasn't been blanked out. That comes back as a Mercedes taxed and MOT'd till May 2017.0
