When you check your balance and find that you've actually got more money saved than you thought, because you forgot about the slight banking crisis that you had towards the end of last year's challenge that forced you to borrow from it meaning you were already collecting again by the start of the new challenge and therefore have already passed the £365 target..... That! Very happy.

  • Hi all,

Is it too late to join? I'd like to start as well. Tomorrow is the 1st of august. I'm thinking better late than never. Please advise.

    Thanks :)

Hi both and welcome; Ellie's a bit busy right now but next time she's here she will give you both a number and add you to the list at the top of the thread. It's never too late and there's loads of time to get a head start on Xmas. How much are you going to aim for? It can be £365, or the number of days left until Nov 30th (I think that's £122) or double up or anything else to suit your circumstances :santa2:

    My new total:
    #3 £361/£650
    Debt Free 🍾 since 6.8.13 £31,997
    Saving for🎄Xmas ☃️ 🎁 2024 £104/£365 28.6%
    6 mth 🆘 fund £6k
    Mortgage offset fund £5.2k/£63.1k
It turns out the answer to my problems wasn’t at the bottom of this tub of ice-cream, 🍨 but the important thing is that I tried...
  • Good morning
Had a really tight month last month and wasn't sure I was going to make it to end of month. But am happy to confirm that all the £1s for July were safely moved across into savings.

    #40 with £31 giving £243 / £365

Now I just have to survive August. Me thinks there is a little too much DIY going on in my life at moment

    Have a great Tuesday
