Leasehold renewal Question

HI all,

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but here goes.

I have a commercial property that is leased out. How much so i be charging for lease renewal, or should i get in a surveyor to help me out on this one?

    Sorry, bit confused. Do you mean how much rent increase should you be after? Or do you mean, can you charge for the admin of arranging the renewal?

    HI,

    I mean two things really. Yes what sort of rent increase should i be looking for. Also do i charge a lease renewal fee. My tenant is trying to sell her 2 yr lease to someone for £10,000. Now the prospective new tenants have enquired about getting an extension before buying. Now i don't see why i should give her an extension without some sort of recompense as it makes no difference to me. Its the first time i have owned property so i don't really know what i can/can't do.
