Can't quite believe it. It's quite funny though, because husband has always said he only liked charcoal bbqs, but now all of a sudden, he can't wait to try a gas one :rotfl:

Where did the "K" come from?

It was a Kettler Everdure Heston Blumenthal bbq (and that's a mouthful to say, and it's not yet even 7 so I haven't had a drink:rotfl:). So I decided to use the K, as that is the beginning of it's full title, Newt permitting, or should that be a small N for newt?

As a bye-the-way, does the newt have a name, or is it Newt?

And I thought we were allowed to have up to 3 marked off, (I'm sure this is the only way I will get anywhere near completing most of the tasks!!)

You know the newt was bird watching with me!

The newt is called "Cassandra The Newt".

Well done on that and the newt says yes of course you can have that as an effort especially as you don't get to keep the prize.

Thanks Newt :D off to update them now!

    Well done Missus :T

I personally only donate to two charities The Great North Air Ambulance and Help for Heroes, but we get a lot of "fake" charity bags around here asking for donations/phones/clothing ect and they don't even have a charity number on them :(

I get exactly the same down here, it's extremely frustrating, especially as I have lots of very elderly people who live alone near me who get conned into giving sometimes hundreds of pounds to these people. As a family the local charities that we give to are Devon Air Ambulance and a local hospice and then also to Parkinsons UK as sadly a family member suffered for 10 years with it but apart from that we're extremely cautious as to who we give to. I find it very sad that these chancers have damaged the reputation of other genuine charities

Wow! Congratulations Newnan, what a fantastic win :T Isn't it funny how they change their minds when something is offered to them as free :rotfl: It was the same when I won a smartphone earlier this year, my father was perfectly happy with his old one (it wouldnt have looked out of place on the flintstones!) but as soon as I offered him the new one, he had suddenly "been considering a new one for a while" :p
